HUH? Yep, we're into gardening BUT you have to see how things grow here. You can see it daily. In our backyard we have watermelon, strawberries, limes, pineapple, oranges, papaya, mangos, avocado, bananas and tomatoes. As well as every kind of herb you can think of. The plants are now twice the size they were in this picture. Gardening is fun and we are both enjoying it a lot.

Same as anywhere, jerks and nice people. I have to admit though, and maybe it’s because it’s so small, there are a lot of really weird people here, bikers, hippies, losers, drunks…you know.

We have great neighbors and have found most people very helpful and friendly. We have dinner guests frequently and enjoy meeting new friends.

Health:

We are both getting into much better shape (I lost 20 lbs) but I think that is simply because we are so active here. No sitting around watching TV. (Talking about TV we have Direct TV, we have a card for all the US stations and our Bell Express view works just fine here and so we can keep up on Canada. We have better TV here than anything we had in Calgary).

I did go to the dentist for a root canal and what was supposed to be done in one visit turned into 5 and was it painful. (Can't have everything I guess).

Cindy is happy with her hairdresser and gets her nails done frequently. She likes the prices especially. I have learnt to cut my own hair, yup that’s true.

We haven't needed a doctor yet .....hope it stays that way.

We are certainly NOT bored; we are very busy all the time. We are trying to learn Spanish and go to classes twice a week.  Cindy has a job at Villa La Estancia ( www.villalaestancia.com ) selling high end condos and she works 4 nights a week. She loves her job and has the potential to make a little bit of money.
